Candlebark at Boardwalk Villas Metung

Positive: The villa was lovely. Plenty of room. Loved the balconies. Sat out in the sun to have breakfast. Having a fireplace was great, plenty of wood but only 5 firefighters supplied. The pool was cold so I only had a quick dip but loved the spa. The kids didn't care so spent a lot of time back and forth from pool to spa. Being across from the boardwalk and water was excellent. Enjoyed a 3.5 k stroll into town and back counting jellyfish 🪼 and water birds along the way. Also close to the Metung hot springs which were very enjoyable. We will be back. Negative: The only complaint I have is I booked for 2 adults and only 5 coffee pods were supposed. I think for 5 days there should have been at least 10.

Our family of 4 had a fantastic stay over the long weekend - the villa is great, well appointed with everything you need, very clean and modern but cosy, and only a beautiful walk along the boardwalk to the shops and pub. Wonderful hosts with excellent communication. Will definitely return as soon as we can!

Positive: Beautiful villas in the best locations . The place was very clean, good size rooms for 5 of us. The place provided everything we needed for a few days stay. Negative: Everything except the television in the main bedroom, it's too high from the floor, the lights from the television and the monitor next to the TV ruined our sleep because it's so bright , overall we loved the place.

Perfect getaway, close the water, the hot springs and a lovely 15 walk into town Positive: Amazing location if you have a boat. Great pool and spa area. Highly recommend Negative: No parking directly next to cottage
